This stately room is one of our largest in the home. It has a king-sized bed, views of the private patio and Chef’s Garden, a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination, and much more! Enjoy a good book or get some work done at the beautiful antique writing desk; or put the work away to enjoy some Netflix on our smart TV’s. Whatever you have planned for your stay, we have just the room for you!
Room Two: The Den
The Den has been decorated to feel like a King & Queen's private quarters. Dark green walls, gold accents, and antique books invite you to relax and step back in time. There is a stunning marble fireplace at the foot of the bed, however fires are not permitted for the safety of our guests & home. The Den boasts our largest hand-carved headboard, a dark wood writing desk, antique vanity, and local artwork. The private bathroom receives sunlight from the floor-to-ceiling window, and is equipped with a standing tile shower. Come experience why so many guests fall for the charm of The Den!
This historic bedroom is bathed in warm evening light, overlooking sunsets from the front yard. The Tea room is painted in faded pink and dark brown earth tones (Irish Tea and Turkish Coffee) which add to the coziness of this room. An antique tea cart and vintage books adorn the room, alongside local artwork, a smart TV, and writing desk. The private bath features a standing tile shower.
One of our most requested rooms, The Stone Room offers stunning views of quiet downtown Harrisonburg. This room sits at the front of our home, with two chairs nestled in the turret to enjoy sunset views over the valley. A dark wood king-sized bed, tall ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows give this room a romantic charm. A large desk awaits those looking to get work done during their stay. The light purple bathroom features a standing tile shower with glass door.
Room Five: The Lavender Room
The Lavender Room features soft purple walls, tall ceilings, and gold brush king-sized bed. Charming purple and gold accents are a nod to our local university, JMU. You can enjoy local artwork, as well as the home's blueprints that adorn the walls. The bathroom features a shower/bathtub combination, and dark purple walls. A writing desk is there if you'd like to get some work done, and two window-side chairs for an intimate evening overlooking the town. Come bask in the calming sights and sounds of The Lavender Room.
